Roll Format and Intended Use

This 24 inch by 100 foot roll of Canon satin photographic paper is built for inkjet and dye sublimation printers. The resin coated surface suits desktop publishing, point of sale signage, fine art reproduction and portrait work. Its bright white base supports accurate proofing where colour fidelity matters.

Handling and Immediate Output

A 10 mil thickness gives the media rigidity for smooth feeding through large format devices. The satin finish dries quickly so prints can be handled straight away without smearing or smudging. High colour density and optimal gradation appear on the first pass, reducing waste during short runs.

Sustained Production Behaviour

The 3 inch core fits standard roll holders for continuous, unattended printing over long jobs. Consistent coating quality maintains sharpness and colour balance from the first metre to the last. Economical pricing per square foot makes extended signage or gallery batches practical without frequent roll changes.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 24" wide roll onto a 3.00" core spindle without misaligning the edges?

Slide the 24.00" roll onto the 3.00" core spindle, centre it using the printer's edge guides, then advance a short length to confirm straight tracking before printing.

Will the satin coating degrade or curl if the printed roll is stored for months before display?

The resin-coated 10mil base resists curling; keep the printed roll in its original box at room temperature and humidity to preserve the satin finish and colour density.

At what roll length does ink drying time become the bottleneck during a continuous 100ft print run?

The 100.00ft roll prints continuously; Canon's quick-dry coating prevents smearing at full printer speed, so the roll end — not drying — is the first limit.
