Genuine magenta ink cartridge

This Canon 2356C001 cartridge supplies 700ml of magenta ink for compatible imagePROGRAF printers. It is a single, new genuine unit built to the manufacturer specifications. The cartridge works with the TX-2000, TX-3000 and TX-4000 models. It replaces an empty magenta tank in those devices.

For imagePROGRAF TX series owners

The cartridge fits the TX-2000, TX-3000 and TX-4000 printers listed in the compatibility data. Buyers with other imagePROGRAF models or non-Canon large-format printers cannot use this item. It is also unsuitable for anyone needing cyan, yellow or black ink instead of magenta.

700ml magenta capacity

The ink volume is 700ml, which determines how many prints you can produce before the tank needs replacement. Confirm that your printer is one of the three compatible TX models before purchasing. The cartridge quantity is one per pack.

Questions about this item

Does the box contain only the 700 ml magenta cartridge or are printheads or maintenance parts included?

The package holds one magenta ink cartridge. Printheads and maintenance items are sold separately for the imagePROGRAF TX-2000, TX-3000 and TX-4000.

I see only one capacity listed — is 700 ml the sole option for this model?

Yes, the 2356C001 is offered in a single 700 ml size; no smaller or larger variants exist for this magenta cartridge.

How many square metres can I expect from the 700 ml fill on a TX-3000?

Canon does not publish a coverage figure for the 700 ml magenta cartridge on the TX-3000; actual yield varies with media type, print mode and image content.
