Canon PGI-72 Photo Magenta Ink Tank

This genuine Canon ink cartridge supplies photo magenta ink for compatible Canon photo printers. It is intended for photographers and enthusiasts who require accurate colour reproduction in their prints. The cartridge uses Canon LUCIA ink formulation. It is sold new as a single colour tank.

Individual colour replacement system

The cartridge belongs to Canon's individual ink system so only the depleted colour needs replacing. This approach reduces waste and avoids discarding tanks that still contain ink. The tank installs directly into the printer's dedicated magenta slot. No separate printhead is included because the printer uses FINE nozzle technology.

LUCIA ink longevity and compatibility limits

LUCIA ink is formulated for professional-grade photo longevity on Canon photo papers. The cartridge works only with printers that accept the PGI-72 series tanks. It cannot be used in printers that require dye-based cartridges or different PGI model numbers. Users must verify their printer model before purchase.
