Canon PFI-3300 CO Chroma Optimizer cartridge

The Canon 6443C001AA is a single 330 mL pigment ink tank containing Chroma Optimizer fluid. It is made for owners of imagePROGRAF PRO-2600, PRO-4600 and PRO-6600 wide-format printers who need to replenish the clear coating channel.

Practical limits of the Chroma Optimizer channel

The cartridge only fits the three PRO series models listed above; it will not work in any other Canon or third-party printer. The 330 mL capacity sets the maximum volume per replacement, so high-volume users must plan for more frequent swaps than larger bulk systems allow.

Installation and common issues

Insert the tank into the dedicated Chroma Optimizer slot until it clicks; the printer recognises the genuine chip automatically. The most frequent problem is forgetting to remove the orange protective cap before insertion, which blocks ink flow and triggers an error message.
