Purpose-built Ink Tank

The Canon Lucia PRO II PFI-5100 is a 14.4 ml pigment ink tank engineered for the imagePROGRAF PRO-310 printer. It supplies Photo Cyan ink for professionals who require precise colour reproduction in fine art and photographic output. Genuine Canon formulation ensures consistent performance across every print run.

Fit and Limitations

This tank suits artists and photographers producing archival-grade work on the PRO-310 who value high light resistance and a wide colour gamut. Buyers using any other printer model cannot install this cartridge. Users needing high-volume continuous printing should note the 14.4 ml capacity requires periodic replacement.

Deciding Specification

The cartridge is keyed exclusively to the PRO-310; the printer will not recognise or accept it in any other device. Verify your printer model before purchase, as compatibility is the single factor that determines whether this tank can be used.

Questions about this item

Does the PFI-5100 Photo Cyan tank generate extra heat or noise during long print runs?

The cartridge is a passive pigment ink tank with no moving parts, so it adds no heat or audible noise to the PRO-310 during extended use.

Which printer must I already own for the 6956C002 cartridge to work?

The tank is engineered exclusively for the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 printer.

Can I mix this Lucia PRO II Photo Cyan tank with older Lucia PRO inks already installed in my PRO-310?

The PRO-310 requires a full set of Lucia PRO II inks; mixing generations is not supported and would trigger an ink mismatch error.
