Value pack for PIXMA printers

This Canon 8281B007 value pack contains one PG-245 black and one CL-246 colour cartridge. Both are genuine dye-based inks built for compatible PIXMA iP, MG, MX, TR and TS series models. Home users and small offices get a convenient two-cartridge bundle that covers everyday documents and photo prints in a single purchase.

Replaces separate cartridge purchases

Buying the twin pack removes the need to order black and colour supplies on different schedules. The jump is worth it when you print both text and images regularly and want to avoid the hassle of tracking two separate part numbers. It is not for buyers who only ever print monochrome documents or who need high-yield tanks for heavy volume work.

Fits straight into supported PIXMA models

The cartridges slot directly into printers such as the MG3620, MG3650, MG3680 and MG3690 without adapters or firmware steps. Using genuine Canon ink keeps the printhead warranty intact and avoids the clog risk that can come from third-party refills. The pack frees up storage space by consolidating two replacements into one box.

Questions about this item

Which Canon PIXMA printers accept the PG-245 and CL-246 cartridges in this 8281B007 value pack?

The PG-245 black and CL-246 colour cartridges are compatible with PIXMA MG3620, MG3650, MG3680, MG3690 and select iP, MG, MX, TR and TS series models.

How are the PG-245 and CL-246 cartridges installed, and what step do users often miss?

Open the front cover, wait for the carriage to centre, remove the orange protective tape from each cartridge, then insert the PG-245 on the right and CL-246 on the left until they click; many forget to peel the tape completely.

When will the PG-245 black or CL-246 colour cartridge need replacement?

Replace the PG-245 when black text fades on plain paper, and the CL-246 when photos lose colour vibrancy; both are dye-based inks that deplete with regular printing.
