Genuine Canon Cyan Drum Unit

The Canon GPR-51 cyan drum unit carries part number 8521B003AA and is supplied new in genuine Canon packaging. It is designed for the imageRUNNER C250, C350 and C351 series of multifunction printers. Offices that run these specific models use this drum to maintain colour registration and consistent cyan density across high-volume print jobs.

Consistent Output Over Long Runs

The drum unit is engineered to deliver stable cyan reproduction throughout its rated life without the density drift that can appear in refilled alternatives. Because it is a genuine Canon component, the photoreceptor surface and charge roller tolerate the heat cycles of continuous printing across the supported imageRUNNER models. This reliability reduces the frequency of unplanned downtime during heavy monthly duty cycles.

Direct Fit for Supported imageRUNNER Models

Installation follows the standard drum replacement procedure for the C250, C350 and C351; the unit seats into the cyan slot without additional tools or firmware steps. The most common issue occurs when the drum is forced into an incompatible model or when the protective seal is not fully removed before closing the front cover. Buyers who need a drum for other Canon series or for the magenta, yellow or black positions should select the matching part number instead.

Questions about this item

Does the GPR-51 Cyan Drum produce noticeable noise or heat during continuous printing on the IR-C250?

The drum unit is a passive imaging component with no motor or heater, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat while the printer runs all day.

Which Canon imageRUNNER models must I already own for the 8521B003AA drum to be recognised?

The GPR-51 Cyan Drum is keyed for the IR-C250, IR-C350 and IR-C351; it will not install or be recognised in any other device.

If I keep an older IR-C250 alongside a newer IR-C351, can I share the same GPR-51 Cyan Drum stock?

Yes — the 8521B003AA drum is cross-compatible with both the IR-C250 and IR-C351, so a single stock covers either machine.
