Canon GPR-51 Drum for IR-C Series

The Canon 8522B003AA GPR-51 drum unit is a genuine consumable built for the imageRUNNER C250, C350 and C351 multifunction printers. It transfers toner onto paper during every print cycle. Offices running these specific Canon models need this exact drum to maintain output quality.

Page Yield Limits for the GPR-51 Drum

A drum unit wears mechanically after a rated number of rotations, not after a fixed time period. High-volume colour jobs consume the photoconductor surface faster than light mono tasks. Once the rated limit is reached, print density drops and streaks appear regardless of remaining toner.

Slide-In Installation and Common Errors

The unit slides into the front access bay of the IR-C250, C350 or C351 without tools. Alignment pins guide the housing into the drive gear. Forcing a misaligned cartridge bends the shutter or strips the gear teeth. Removing the protective seal before insertion prevents blank pages on the first job.
