Genuine Canon BCI-6BK Black Ink 2 Pack

This two-pack of genuine Canon BCI-6BK black ink tanks is built for owners of compatible Canon i Series, S Series, PIXMA iP and MP Series printers plus the BJC 8200. It supplies crisp, dark text and vibrant graphics for everyday documents and photos.

Limited to monochrome output on listed models

The tanks only provide black ink, so colour printing requires separate colour cartridges not included here. Compatibility is restricted to the specific models named such as the iP8500, i9900, MP780, S9000 and BJC 8200; other Canon printers will not accept these tanks.

Simple drop-in installation with model verification

Each tank slots directly into the printer’s black ink bay without tools or priming steps. The most common issue is purchasing the pack for a printer not on the supported list, which leads to fitment errors or unrecognised cartridge warnings.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 2-pack or a single tank?

The 2-pack contains two BCI-6BK tanks, doubling the supply and lowering the cost per cartridge for high-volume black-and-white printing.

How many pages can I expect from one BCI-6BK tank in my printer?

Page yield varies by model and coverage; Canon rates the BCI-6BK for standard black text output, so actual pages depend on your specific i Series, S Series, PIXMA iP, MP Series or BJC 8200 printer.

Does the BCI-6BK use a standard interface across all listed models?

The BCI-6BK is a proprietary Canon ink tank designed to fit the listed i Series, S Series, PIXMA iP, MP Series and BJC 8200 printers without adapters.
