Wide-format roll for technical output

This 42-inch by 150-foot bond paper roll is designed for large-format printers and plotters used in engineering, architecture and graphic-arts environments. The 24 lb basis weight and 90% opacity give crisp line definition with minimal show-through on double-sided prints.

Verify printer roll capacity and core size

Confirm that your device accepts a 42-inch wide roll and can accommodate a 150-foot length on a standard core. Check the printer’s media settings for bond paper at this weight and ensure the feed path supports smooth, double-sided coated stock.

Suits CAD, GIS and presentation workflows

Ideal for professionals who need high-opacity, acid-free output for archival plans, maps or colour presentations. Not suited for users who require photo-grade gloss, heavier card stock or sheet-fed media for short-run jobs.

Questions about this item

Does the 42-inch by 150-foot roll come ready to load or do I need a separate core or spindle?

The roll is supplied on a standard 3-inch core and is ready to load into compatible wide-format printers; no extra core or spindle is required.

When would I choose the 24 lb 90% opacity version instead of a lighter or heavier bond?

Choose this 24 lb weight with 90% opacity for double-sided CAD plots, GIS maps or presentation graphics where show-through must be minimal but the media still feeds smoothly through roll-fed devices.

How does the 90% opacity figure affect double-sided prints on this 24 lb bond?

At 90% opacity, text and line work printed on one side remains clearly legible from the reverse with only faint show-through, making it suitable for double-sided technical drawings and posters.
