Professional 4K PTZ Camera

The Canon CR-N700 is a 13.4MP 4K UltraHD pan-tilt-zoom camera built for professional broadcasting, TV studios and live events. Its 1.0-type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor deliver 3840x2160 resolution with precise colour reproduction. Advanced Dual Pixel CMOS AF and deep-learning subject tracking keep talent sharp even during fast movement.

Ideal for Studio and Live Production

This camera suits operators who need reliable 15x optical zoom, 30x advanced zoom in Full HD and multiple output options including 12G/3G-SDI and HDMI. It is not for users who require a compact fixed-lens camera or a model without IP streaming protocols such as SRT and NDI|HX1. Buyers needing a smaller form factor for tight mounting spaces should look elsewhere.

15x Optical Zoom and 4K Resolution Headroom

The 25.5mm to 382.5mm zoom range covers wide establishing shots and tight close-ups with consistent 4K quality. In Full HD the effective reach extends to 30x, providing extra margin for distant subjects. The sensor resolves 13.4 megapixels, giving ample headroom for cropping or digital stabilization. At the longest focal lengths in 4K the optical limit is reached, so users needing greater telephoto reach must add external optics.

Questions about this item

What video recorder or switcher inputs do I need to connect the 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs?

The camera provides 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs carrying 4K UHD 3840×2160, so your recorder or switcher must accept 12G-SDI or HDMI 2.0 signals at that resolution.

Can I keep my existing Full HD monitors while recording in 4K?

Yes, the HDMI and SDI outputs can deliver Full HD simultaneously, and the 30x Advanced Zoom in Full HD mode lets you retain your current monitoring chain.

How do I verify the Dual Pixel CMOS AF and EOS iTR AF X are tracking correctly?

Enable the on-screen focus indicators; when a subject turns away the head-detection box should persist, and the eye-detection frame should follow the pupil in real time.
