Professional 13" Photo Printer

The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 is a new inkjet printer built for photographers who require gallery-quality output up to 13 inches wide. Its 9-color plus Chroma Optimizer pigment ink set delivers detailed gradations and a wide colour gamut on both glossy and fine art papers. The compact design suits home studios and professional workspaces alike.

LUCIA PRO II 9-color ink system

The printer uses nine pigment inks plus a Chroma Optimizer, including dedicated Matte Black and Photo Black channels for deeper blacks on fine art media. This configuration produces enhanced gloss uniformity, scratch resistance, and smooth monochrome gradations. The 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution supports the fine detail demanded by exhibition-grade prints.

Sustained output at 2 ppm

Under continuous operation the PRO-310 maintains a steady 2 pages per minute for both colour and monochrome documents. The standard 100-sheet input tray feeds the engine without interruption for typical proofing runs. A 3.0-inch colour LCD provides real-time status and ink-level monitoring during long print sessions.

Questions about this item

What does the 13-inch width mean for the prints I can produce?

It sets the maximum paper width at 13 inches, so you can print borderless photos up to that size on roll or cut-sheet media.

How does the wireless interface affect print speed in practice?

The 2 pages-per-minute engine speed is the bottleneck; Wi-Fi transfers data faster than the printer can lay down ink.

What desk space and paper handling does the 100-sheet input require?

The single front cassette holds 100 sheets of plain paper or 20 sheets of photo paper, so allow room in front for the tray to extend fully.
