Purpose-built 24-inch wide-format printer

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-250 is a 24-inch wide-format inkjet printer designed for technical CAD drawings and in-house poster production. It supports roll media up to 24 inches and cut sheets up to A1, making it suitable for architecture, engineering, and signage workflows that require precise line work and vivid colour output on a single device.

Front-access design with automatic media detection

Full-frontal operation and a flat-body design allow loading roll paper or cut sheets without rear access, simplifying placement against a wall. The 4.3-inch adjustable touchscreen displays ink levels and media status, while automatic media type and length detection reduces manual setup steps. Wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, and Hi-Speed USB provide flexible network integration for shared office environments.

Low standby power and sustained output capability

Operating power draw is approximately 62 watts over wired LAN, dropping to 1.6 watts in standby and 0.1 watts when powered off, supporting energy-efficient daily use. The 2 GB internal memory buffers complex CAD files and multi-page poster jobs without stalling the print engine. Two ink capacity options, 130 ml and 300 ml, let users match consumable volume to workload intensity for uninterrupted long-run printing.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the TM-250 is printing at the rated 2400 x 1200 dpi after setup?

Print a test page from the driver or the 4.3" screen and inspect the output for sharp lines and accurate colour; the printer's internal calibration and the newly formulated magenta ink work together to deliver the specified resolution.

What comes in the box with the TM-250 and which ink tanks must be purchased separately?

The printer ships with the stand, basket, print head, maintenance cartridge and starter ink tanks; full-capacity 130 ml or 300 ml tanks for all five colours are sold separately.

Should I choose the 130 ml or 300 ml ink tanks for the TM-250?

Select 130 ml tanks for occasional CAD and poster work; choose 300 ml tanks when you run high daily volumes and want fewer ink changes.
