Ideal for technical documents and signage

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-305 is a large-format laser printer built for architectural, engineering and construction workflows. It produces CAD drawings, GIS maps, posters and displays using a five-colour LUCIA TD pigment ink set that delivers water-resistant output. A 3-inch colour touchscreen and 500 GB internal hard drive support direct USB thumb-drive printing of JPEG and PDF files.

Check network and media handling before ordering

Verify that your environment can accommodate a 160 kg device and that Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet infrastructure is in place for file transfer. The flat stacking basket holds up to twenty Arch D plain-paper prints, so confirm that your media sizes and volume match this capacity. Direct USB printing works with JPEG and PDF only; other formats require a network or software workflow.

Replaces older wide-format printers when speed

The TM-305 prints up to 144 D-sized pages per hour and operates sixty percent quieter than earlier imagePROGRAF models, making the jump worthwhile for offices that need faster batch output and lower noise. It does not suit buyers who need roll-fed media handling beyond the stated basket capacity or who require print formats not supported by the LUCIA TD ink set.
