High-volume mono printing

The Xerox AltaLink B8045 is a monochrome laser printer built for heavy office workloads. It prints up to 45 pages per minute with a first page out in 3.9 seconds. A 10.1 inch touch screen controls print, copy, scan and fax functions. Standard memory is 4 GB with a 250 GB hard drive.

Paper capacity and finishing

The included finisher adds professional stapling and stacking for complete document sets. Total paper capacity reaches 4,700 sheets across multiple trays including a 3,600-sheet high-capacity tandem tray. A 200-sheet single-pass duplex automatic document feeder handles two-sided originals up to 11.7 x 17 inches.

Monthly volume range

The manufacturer recommends a monthly print volume between 15,000 and 75,000 pages with a maximum duty cycle of 175,000 pages. Buyers with consistently lower output should consider a smaller device. Those needing colour output or higher speeds must look at other models.
