Compact 4K camcorder for documentary work

The Canon XA60 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder PAL is built for ENG-style documentary and journalism productions. It captures up to UHD 4K30 video using a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and DIG!C DV 6 processor. The integrated 20x optical zoom lens and eight-bladed circular iris deliver natural highlights. Two XLR audio inputs support professional sound recording on location.

Dual XLR audio and USB-C streaming output

Two XLR inputs allow direct connection of professional microphones without an external mixer. A mini-HDMI output sends a clean signal to an external recorder or monitor. The USB Type-C port provides video-only output with UVC support for direct livestreaming to a computer. The 3.5 mm capacitive touchscreen and tiltable 0.36" OLED EVF give flexible monitoring options in the field.

Optical stabilisation and infrared shooting

Optical and electronic image stabilisation work together to keep handheld footage steady during long takes. An infrared mode enables recording in very low-light conditions without visible illumination. The bundle includes a 128GB SanDisk Extreme PRO card rated at 170MB/s, a Scorpion-style stabiliser grip, a large gadget bag, a high-speed card reader, and cleaning accessories for daily maintenance.
