Canon PFI-1000 PBK Photo Black ink 2-pack

This twin pack contains genuine Canon LUCIA PRO pigment ink cartridges made for the imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 printer. Each tank holds 80ml of Photo Black ink formulated for professional photo output. The set suits photographers and print studios that need consistent, archival-quality monochrome and colour results.

High-yield tanks for sustained production runs

The two 80ml cartridges deliver up to 2205 prints at 10x15cm or 256 prints at A2 before replacement is required. Pigment-based LUCIA PRO ink resists fading and maintains density across long print sessions, reducing downtime caused by frequent tank changes during high-volume jobs.

Genuine formulation prevents clogging and waste

Designed exclusively for the PRO-1000, the cartridges integrate with the printer's ink management system to ensure reliable flow and accurate level reporting. Using authentic Canon tanks avoids the head blockages and colour shifts common with third-party alternatives, protecting the print head investment day to day.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 80ml LUCIA PRO Photo Black ink consume when the imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 runs all day?

Ink cartridges do not draw power; the printer uses electricity while the 80ml tanks supply pigment for up to 2205 prints at 10x15cm or 256 prints at A2.

What printer must I already own for these two PFI-1000 PBK cartridges to work?

They are made for the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 and will not fit other models.

Will the LUCIA PRO Photo Black ink work alongside older dye-based black cartridges I might still have?

The PRO-1000 requires a full pigment LUCIA PRO set; mixing with dye inks is not supported and would cause clogging.
