Active tracking PTZ camera

The Canon PowerShot PICK is a compact, battery-powered PTZ network camera designed for hands-free event capture. It uses built-in smart tracking to pan, tilt and zoom while searching for faces and people nearby. The camera automatically takes photos and videos of candid moments during gatherings, weddings or outdoor festivals. Wi-Fi connectivity allows easy placement almost anywhere without wiring constraints.

Smartphone app and voice control

A dedicated smartphone app provides manual control over camera functions and lets users view, share and customise settings for different shooting scenarios. Voice commands starting with "Hello PICK" can trigger photo capture, video recording, subject changes and stop commands. This replaces the need for a dedicated photographer or static tripod-mounted camera at social events. The jump is worth it when you want spontaneous, natural images without interrupting the occasion.

Battery-powered wireless setup

Installation is straightforward because the camera runs on an internal battery and connects via Wi-Fi, removing the need for power cables or network wiring. It fits easily into many locations due to its lightweight, compact form factor. What usually goes wrong is relying on battery life for extended events without a recharge plan, or placing the unit where Wi-Fi signal is too weak for reliable app control and media transfer.
