Canon XA60 4K UHD Camcorder Bundle

The Canon XA60 is a compact professional camcorder that records 4K UHD video at 25P in MP4 up to 150Mbps or XF-AVC up to 160Mbps. It uses a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with 8.29 effective megapixels and the DIGIC DV6 image processor. This bundle adds a 128GB SDXC UHS-I card, external microphone, spare battery, charger, bag, UV filter, LED light, cleaning kit and card reader.

Suited for mobile broadcast and documentary work

The 20x optical zoom with a 35mm equivalent range of 29600mm and 5-axis optical stabilisation cover wide establishing shots through tight close-ups while handheld. Over Sampling HD processing uses the 4K sensor to deliver sharper 1080 output. Buyers who need larger sensors for shallow depth of field or cinema-style low-light performance should look elsewhere.

USB-C UVC HD livestreaming output

The camcorder streams HD video directly to a computer over USB-C using UVC protocol without a separate capture device. This single feature decides whether the XA60 fits a live-production workflow that requires plug-and-play simplicity.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the bundle with the 128 GB card or buy the camcorder alone?

The bundle includes a 128 GB SDXC UHS-I card plus an external microphone, spare battery, charger, bag, filter, LED light, cleaning kit and card reader so you can start shooting immediately.

What does the 150 Mbps MP4 bit-rate mean when I record 4K UHD at 25P?

It captures high-detail 4K footage at 25 frames per second with enough data rate for clean motion and grading flexibility in post-production.

How does the USB-C UVC connection limit my live-streaming quality?

The USB-C port carries an HD UVC stream so you can go live to a computer without extra hardware but the output is capped at 1080p resolution.
