Camcorder for ENG and documentary

The Canon XA60 Professional UHD 4K Camcorder uses a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and DIG!C DV 6 processor to record up to UHD 4K30 video. It is supplied as a 14-piece accessory bundle that includes a 64GB Extreme PRO card, 75 tripod with dolly, 160 LED video light, microphone, variable ND filter, card reader, cleaning kit and large gadget case for immediate field deployment.

Sustained operation with integrated zoom

The integrated 20x optical zoom lens maintains 4K resolution throughout its range and uses an eight-bladed circular iris for natural highlight rendering. Optical and infrared image stabilisation reduce shake during handheld shoots, while the 3.5" touchscreen LCD and tiltable 0.36" OLED EVF provide clear monitoring during long recording sessions in XF-AVC or MP4 formats.

Check mini-HDMI and USB-C workflow

Verify that your external recorder or monitor accepts mini-HDMI input and that your streaming computer supports UVC over USB Type-C for the video-only output. The bundle’s 58mm variable ND filter threads onto the fixed lens, so confirm the thread size matches before ordering additional filters or adapters.
