It reads and writes ISO 7811-6 format cards across three tracks, supporting both high-coercivity and low-coercivity media. The device is powered directly from USB and measures 5.5 by 1.6 by 1.6 inches.

Mobile and desktop users needing manual swipe

It suits merchants, developers and field staff who need to encode gift cards, loyalty cards or ID badges on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS or Android using the free EasyMSR software. Buyers who require an SDK for custom integration or an automated motorised feed should look at other models.

Three-track high-coercivity

The reader handles coercivity from 300 to 4000 oersted across tracks one, two and three, covering credit cards, driver licences and ATM cards. This range decides whether the device can write the specific card stock you use.
