12-inch replacement cutting mats, 2-pack

This CARL 16122 set supplies two fresh PVC mats built for 12-inch rotary trimmers. The sturdy material protects the blade and work surface during every cut. They fit all Carl rotary trimmers that accept 12-inch mats. Keep a spare on hand so trimming tasks never pause.

Durable PVC extends trimmer life

The tough PVC construction resists grooves and cuts, keeping the cutting line accurate over repeated use. Swapping a worn mat restores clean edges without replacing the whole trimmer. Two mats in one pack reduce downtime for high-volume offices or craft rooms. No additional tools or adhesives are required for installation.

Questions about this item

How often will the 16122 cutting mats need replacing under regular use?

The mats are made of sturdy PVC and sold as a two-pack for all Carl 12-inch rotary trimmers; lifespan depends on cutting frequency and material thickness.

What wears out first on the 16122 mats during long cutting sessions?

The PVC surface gradually loses its self-healing property, so deep grooves from repeated blade passes become the limiting factor.
