Communication Cable 1000 ft

The Carol C2524A.41.10 is a shielded communication cable supplied on a 1000 ft reel in a box. It is designed for audio systems, computer systems and control systems in commercial environments. The cable carries a 300 V maximum voltage rating and meets NEC Article 800 CM fire rating requirements.

Shielded Construction and Connectors

A 100 percent aluminum/polyester Flexfoil shield wraps the two 20 AWG stranded conductors to reduce electromagnetic interference. Each conductor uses seven strands with polyethylene insulation and a gray PVC jacket measuring 0.2 in outside diameter. The shielding and jacket materials support reliable signal integrity in commercial installations.

Reel in a Box Packaging

The reel-in-a-box package allows the cable to be pulled straight from the container without tangling during installation. This packaging method reduces handling time and helps protect the jacket from damage on the job site. No additional accessories or software are included with this cable.

Questions about this item

What voltage does the 300 V rating cap for this 20 AWG shielded cable?

The 300 V maximum rating caps the voltage for audio, computer and control system circuits run with this cable.

What conduit or tray space does the 0.2 in outside diameter need?

The 0.2 in outside diameter fits standard low-voltage conduit and cable tray sized for 20 AWG paired cable.

How is the 1000 ft reel-in-a-box pulled, and what step avoids kinks?

Pull from the centre of the reel-in-a-box, feeding straight off the coil to prevent kinks in the stranded conductors.
