Casafield 42 x 42 Gray Vinyl Privacy Fencing
This two-panel vinyl fence system creates a concealed enclosure for air-conditioning units, refuse bins or pool equipment. Each panel assembles to 42-1/2 inches wide by 43-1/2 inches high and the pair can be joined at a right angle to form an L-shaped screen. The horizontal slat layout delivers full visual privacy while allowing air to circulate freely. The structure is built from professional-grade PVC designed to hold its shape in severe weather.
Durable PVC construction with 3 x 3 support posts
The panels use larger 3 x 3 vertical posts that provide greater stability than smaller alternatives. Three galvanised steel stakes measuring 19.7 inches long supply 11.8 inches of ground penetration for a firm anchor. All fasteners are colour-matched stainless-steel self-tapping screws that resist corrosion. Four U-channel pieces cap the top and bottom of the slats for a finished appearance and added rigidity.
Quick assembly with included hardware
The package supplies both fence panels, three support posts with caps, three galvanised stakes, stainless-steel screws and four U-channel caps. No extra brackets or fixings are required to complete the enclosure. The intuitive clipping and screw-together design allows one person to erect the screen in a short time. The finished unit is maintenance-free and retains its grey finish without painting or staining.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 3 x 3 posts and 19.7" galvanized stakes so the fence stays stable?
Drive each 19.7" stake 11.8" into the ground at the post locations, then secure the 3 x 3 vinyl posts to the stakes using the included color-matched stainless steel self-tapping screws. The step people miss is checking post plumb with a level before tightening every screw.
What maintenance or replacement will the vinyl panels and hardware need over time?
The gray vinyl resists rot and rust, so panels rarely need replacement. Wash with mild soap and water annually. Inspect the stainless steel screws and galvanized stakes each season; tighten or replace any that show corrosion or loosening.
At what wind load or panel deflection does the L-shaped enclosure become unstable?
The 3 x 3 posts with 11.8" embedded stakes provide the primary rigidity. Under sustained high wind, the L-joint connection between the two 42" panels will show movement before the posts or stakes fail.
