Privacy screen for outdoor equipment

This Casafield vinyl fencing panel creates a concealed area for air-conditioning units, refuse bins or pool equipment. Two 48 x 48 panels connect at right angles to form an L-shaped enclosure. Horizontal slats block sight-lines while allowing air to circulate. White PVC construction resists weathering and holds its shape over time.

Suits homeowners needing a compact screen.

The kit works well where a small, freestanding privacy zone is required around a single condenser or bin store. Builders who need a continuous boundary fence or a taller barrier should look elsewhere. The fixed 48-inch height and two-panel limit restrict coverage to one corner. No gate hardware or additional panels are supplied.

Stakes, posts and U-channels speed assembly

Three 19.7-inch galvanised steel stakes provide 11.8 inches of ground penetration for stability. Three 3 x 3 posts with caps form the vertical frame. Sixteen horizontal slats and four U-channel pieces cap the top and bottom edges. Colour-matched stainless steel self-tapping screws join every joint without extra tools.

Questions about this item

What ground space is needed for each 48" x 48" panel?

Each assembled panel measures 51 inches wide by 49-1/2 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus room for the 19.7-inch stakes driven 11.8 inches deep.

Will the 3 x 3 posts and galvanized stakes hold firm in windy conditions?

The 3 x 3 vertical posts and three 19.7-inch galvanized steel stakes driven 11.8 inches deep provide a rigid frame that resists shifting in strong winds.

How can I confirm the horizontal slats are properly seated after assembly?

Check that all 16 horizontal slats sit flush inside the U-channel caps at top and bottom and that the color-matched stainless steel self-tapping screws are fully driven.
