Portable Cassette-to-Digital Converter

The Cassette Player Converter 669 is a new portable device that plays standard audio cassettes and converts them to MP3 files. It also records from its built-in microphone or an external source directly onto tape, USB flash drives, or SD cards. A retractable handle makes it simple to carry between rooms or on trips.

3.5 mm Headphone Jack and USB-C Power

Private listening is handled by a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, while the unit draws 3 watts through a USB Type-C connection with a two-pin EU plug. This single power and audio interface determines whether the player fits your existing headphones and local mains supply without extra adapters.

Suits Archivists and Field Recorders

Collectors digitising personal tape libraries and journalists capturing interviews on location will appreciate the multiple recording targets and playback modes. Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, built-in speakers for room-filling sound, or automatic track-splitting software should look at other devices.

Questions about this item

How does the 3 W output power affect real-world listening volume?

The 3 W rating drives the built-in speaker and headphone jack loud enough for personal listening in a quiet room, but it will not fill a large space.

What does the USB Type-C port actually do on this unit?

The USB Type-C connection supplies power to the player and lets you transfer MP3 files to a computer using Audacity software.

Will the 20 cm width fit on a standard desk shelf?

At 20 cm wide the player sits comfortably on most desk shelves, and the retractable handle folds flat so it does not add extra depth.
