Portable CD Player with Built-in Battery

The CD5189B is a compact disc player powered by an integrated 1400mAh lithium-ion cell. It plays standard CDs, CD-R discs and MP3-encoded discs without requiring disposable batteries. The unit is aimed at listeners who want a self-contained music source for travel, study or casual home use.

Dual Speakers and AUX Output for Flexible Listening

Two internal stereo speakers let you hear music without headphones, while a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3.5mm AUX output provide private or external playback options. A matching AUX cable is included for direct connection to car stereos or powered speakers that accept a 3.5mm line input. The player charges from any USB power source in roughly four hours.

Replaces Battery-Operated Walkman-Style Players

This model removes the need to buy and carry AA cells, making it lighter at 0.26kg and simpler to keep running on long trips. The anti-skip buffer, variable playback speed, A-B repeat and last-position memory suit language learners and audiobook listeners. Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, TF-card playback or a larger display should look elsewhere.
