LC Duplex Keystone Couplers (5-Pack)

These five LC duplex keystone couplers connect two duplex patch cords in patch panels, wall plates or surface-mount boxes. They suit installers and network technicians who need a quick, professional feed-through for single-mode or multimode fibre runs.

Standard keystone footprint limits panel density

Each coupler occupies one standard keystone opening, so the number of ports per panel is fixed by the panel’s cut-out count. The flangeless design keeps the zipcord yoke clear when polarity is reversed, but the physical aperture remains the limiting factor for total connections.

Multimode 50 and 62.5 micron core support

The phosphor-bronze sleeve accepts single-mode OS2 9 micron fibre and multimode OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 with 50 or 62.5 micron cores. Installations requiring other core sizes or connector types cannot use these couplers.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 5-pack or look for a different quantity?

The product is only offered as a 5-pack, giving you five LC duplex keystone couplers for multiple patch-panel ports or spares.

What does the LC duplex coupler actually do once it is snapped into a patch panel?

It joins two duplex fiber patch cables through a flangeless keystone with a phosphor-bronze sleeve and stainless-steel retention clip, allowing zipcord cables to be inserted or polarity-swapped without blocking the yoke.

Which fiber standards and core sizes does the keystone accept?

It supports Single Mode OS2 at 9 microns and Multimode OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 at 50 or 62.5 microns.
