Battery for iPod Touch 6th and 7.1 Gen

This replacement cell fits the Apple iPod Touch 6th Generation and the 7.1 variant. It matches part numbers 020-00425, A1574 and A1641. The pack is not for Nano or Classic models, so buyers with those devices need a different battery.

Straightforward swap with adhesive prep

The pack sits in the same 66.10 x 49.80 x 2.30 mm footprint as the original. Installation requires opening the device and removing the old cell, which is held by adhesive. Careless prying can tear flex cables, so a plastic tool and patience are essential.

1043 mAh at 3.83 V delivers 4 Whr

The lithium-polymer chemistry supplies the rated 1.043 Ah capacity for typical daily playback. Heavy gaming or continuous video streaming will drain the charge faster, and the cell cannot be upgraded beyond this fixed capacity.
