Chicago-Latrobe 45638 26pc 135° Jobber Drill Set

Chicago-Latrobe 45638 26-Piece Drill Set

This set contains 26 jobber length drill bits made from high speed steel with a black oxide finish. The 135 degree point angle helps reduce walking and provides efficient cutting across a range of materials. It is designed for general purpose drilling tasks in metal, wood and plastic.

Suited for general drilling, not specialised alloys

The heavy-duty construction suits maintenance technicians, mechanics and DIY users who need a broad selection of standard sizes for everyday work. Buyers requiring cobalt or carbide tips for hardened steel, stainless steel or high-temperature alloys should look at different tooling.

135 degree split point for self-centering starts

The 135 degree point angle is the key specification that determines how the bit engages the workpiece. It allows the bit to start on contact without a centre punch, reducing wandering on curved or hard surfaces and improving hole accuracy in tougher metals.
