Chicago Pneumatic A046094 Zip Quick Retainer

The Chicago Pneumatic A046094 is a spring-type chisel retainer built for pneumatic tools. It uses a Zip Quick design that allows fast bit changes without extra tools. The retainer fits a 0.401 in shank and is supplied as a single piece.

Mechanics who need rapid chisel swaps

This retainer suits technicians who work with CP7111 or CP714 models and want quicker changeovers. It will not fit hammers that use a different shank diameter or a screw-on retainer style. Buyers who need a retainer for non-CP brands or larger shank sizes should look elsewhere.

Confirm your hammer model

Check that your pneumatic hammer is either the CP7111 or CP714 and that the chisel shank measures 0.401 in. The retainer is a direct replacement only for those configurations. Using it on an incompatible tool will prevent proper chisel retention.
