Benchtop Sand Rammer for Foundry Use

The Chicago Pneumatic CP0200B18-2F is a benchtop sand rammer designed for foundry applications. It delivers a maximum of 1,800 blows per minute with a piston bore and stroke of 2 1/2 inches each. The tool weighs 3.3 lb and operates at a sound level of 95 dBA. A safety lever is included in the kit.

Suits Foundry Work; Not for Heavy Mobile Compaction

This rammer suits foundry professionals needing consistent bench-top compaction of sand moulds. The straight handle and latch retainer provide controlled operation for repetitive tasks. Buyers requiring high-portability impact tools for deep or large-scale compaction should look at alternative equipment types.

Questions about this item

What size air hose and inlet fitting does the CP0200B18-2F need to run?

Connect a hose with at least a 3/8 in inside diameter to the 1/4 in NPT female air inlet on the rammer.

Will my existing 14 cfm compressor keep up with this rammer at full speed?

The tool draws 14.1 cfm, so a compressor rated at or above that flow will sustain 1,800 bpm operation.

How can I verify the rammer is delivering its rated performance after hooking it up?

Listen for a steady 95 dBA sound level and confirm the piston cycles at 1,800 blows per minute under load.
