Genuine Chicony 40W replacement adapter

This genuine Chicony CPA09-002A adapter supplies 19V at 2.1A for 40W total output. It includes a power cord and fits Samsung NP-N110, NP-N130, NP-N140 and NP-N150 notebooks. The unit is new and tested for full function.

Tip diameter and output voltage

The barrel tip measures 5.5mm and delivers a fixed 19V output. Match both the tip size and the voltage exactly to the original charger or the laptop will not charge. Input accepts 100-240V at 50-60Hz for worldwide use.

Plug-in installation with polarity check

Installation is a simple plug into the laptop and the wall socket. The most common issue is reversing the tip polarity or using a tip with a different inner diameter, which prevents charging. Verify the original adapter shows the same 19V 2.1A rating before connecting.

Questions about this item

What does the 40 W rating mean when I plug it into my laptop?

The 40 W rating means the adapter can continuously supply 19 V at 2.1 A, giving your laptop up to 40 watts of power for charging and operation.

What does the 5.5 mm tip size determine for compatibility?

The 5.5 mm tip is the barrel connector diameter; it must match the laptop's power jack exactly, otherwise the plug will not seat or make reliable contact.

Will the included power cord work with a UK wall socket?

The adapter accepts 100-240 V input, so it works worldwide; you only need a mains lead with the correct local plug, such as a UK three-pin IEC C7 or C5 cord.
