25" x 23.7" ceiling plenum shelf

The Chief CMS492 mounts above a 2' x 2' ceiling tile to hide A/V equipment in classrooms or conference rooms. It provides a clean, professional appearance while keeping devices accessible. The white finish blends with standard ceiling grids.

100 lb load limit on 8" deep shelf

The shelf supports up to 100 lb of equipment within its 8-inch height clearance. Its plenum-rated construction meets building code requirements for air-handling spaces. The 25-inch width and 23.7-inch depth define the usable equipment footprint.

Verify tile grid and equipment dimensions

Confirm the ceiling uses a standard 2' x 2' tile grid before ordering. Measure each piece of A/V gear to ensure it fits within the 25 by 23.7 inch platform and does not exceed the 100 lb total capacity. Check that the 8-inch vertical space accommodates device height and cable routing.
