Cover Kit for Home Server Racks

The PAC526 cover kit in white fits Chief server racks and cabinets used in home and garden installations. It provides a finished exterior for open-frame or enclosed rack builds. The kit suits DIY builders and installers who want a clean, uniform look.

Passive Thermal Management

The cover panels act as passive airflow guides without adding fan noise or power draw. Solid surfaces direct exhaust away from living spaces while keeping the rack interior accessible. No electrical connection is required for normal operation.

Replaces Generic Panels or Open Frames

This kit upgrades from unfinished steel or exposed rack frames where dust and appearance are concerns. The jump is worth it when the rack sits in a visible room and a white, manufacturer-matched finish is preferred. Buyers needing lockable doors, side panels or integrated cable management should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the PAC526 cover kit mounted to the rack frame, and which alignment step is commonly missed?

The kit attaches to the rack frame using the included mounting points; the step often missed is verifying that all brackets are level before tightening the screws.

What maintenance will the white finish on this cover kit require over time?

Wipe the powder-coated white surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust; avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the coating.

What is the first limitation you hit when the PAC526 cover kit is used continuously in a high-temperature server room?

The white powder-coat finish may discolour or degrade before any structural issue appears if ambient temperatures consistently exceed the material's rated limit.
