Christie DXG1051-Q projector lamp

The Christie DXG1051-Q is a 370W P-VIP replacement lamp module supplied with a new Osram bulb inside a complete housing. It is intended for technicians and venue operators who need a direct replacement for Christie projectors using part number 003-004774-01. The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of operation and is manufactured to ISO9001 quality standards.

Installation and common issues

The module arrives fully assembled so installation only requires opening the projector lamp door, removing the old unit and sliding the new housing into place. No separate bulb handling or alignment is necessary which reduces the risk of contamination or incorrect seating. The most frequent issue is forgetting to reset the projector lamp hour counter after fitting the new module which can cause premature shutdown warnings.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Confirm that your Christie projector specifies the DXG1051-Q or 003-004774-01 part number before ordering because multiple lamp versions exist for similar models. Verify that the projector power supply and ballast are functioning correctly since a faulty ballast can damage a new 370W lamp. Ensure the projector ventilation path is clear because restricted airflow shortens the rated 2000 hour lamp life.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the DXG1051-Q lamp is operating correctly after installation?

The projector should ignite without flickering and display a stable image; the lamp-hour counter will begin counting toward the rated 2000 hrs.

What ships with the DXG1051-Q and what must I source separately?

The module arrives as a fully assembled 370W Osram P-VIP bulb inside its housing, ready to install; no extra parts are required.

Which of the four DXG1051-Q versions should I select?

Choose the OEM version from the original bulb maker for exact-match performance, the Christie-branded OEM for factory supply, the alternative OEM for a different maker’s bulb, or the compatible version for a lower-cost option built with genuine OEM parts.
