Replacement Lamp for Hitachi CP-X8800B

This new replacement lamp module fits the Hitachi CP-X8800B projector and arrives as a fully assembled bulb and housing for straightforward installation. It uses a Philips UHP 430W bulb and is built to meet ISO9001 quality standards for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

UHP 430W Lamp Life Limits

The lamp is rated for 2000 hours of operation at full power and 4000 hours when the projector runs in Eco Mode. Brightness will gradually decline as those hour limits are reached and the lamp must then be replaced to maintain image quality.

430W Philips UHP Bulb Specification

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 430W Philips UHP bulb inside the supplied housing. Projectors requiring a different wattage or bulb type cannot use this module, and buyers needing a bare bulb without the housing should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Which version of the Hitachi CP-X8800B lamp should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

Three OEM versions are available: the bulb manufacturer's own lamp, the same lamp sold by Hitachi, and an OEM-compatible lamp from a different bulb maker. A lower-cost compatible version using genuine OEM parts is also offered.

What does the 430W rating mean for brightness and heat in my projector?

The 430W UHP bulb delivers the light output the CP-X8800B was designed for, so image brightness matches the projector's original specification and the cooling system handles the heat load it expects.

How does the 2,000-hour lamp life change when I use Eco Mode?

In Eco Mode the rated life doubles to 4,000 hours, reducing power draw and extending the interval between replacements.
