Cisco 880 Series SHDSL Router

The Cisco 880 Series ISR combines Internet access, security, voice, and wireless services in a single desktop device for small businesses and enterprise branch offices. It delivers firewall, content filtering, and VPN features at broadband speeds over G.SHDSL EFM/ATM lines. The unit is designed for simple deployment and centralized management by service providers or IT teams.

Four Fast Ethernet Ports for LAN Connectivity

Four RJ-45 ports provide 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet connectivity for local devices such as PCs, printers, and access points. The SHDSL WAN interface frees up the Ethernet ports for pure LAN traffic instead of WAN uplinks. VoIP support allows analogue or IP phones to connect directly through the integrated voice services. A management port enables out-of-band configuration and monitoring.

Sustained Broadband Performance for Small Offices

The router maintains consistent throughput for continuous VPN tunnels, firewall inspection, and content filtering during extended business hours. Its desktop form factor relies on passive cooling suited for steady-state operation in office environments. The integrated flash memory stores multiple configuration images and logs for reliable recovery after power cycles.
