Sustained routing with inspection

Throughput reaches 2.3 Gbps while IDS/IPS inspection holds at 1.5 Gbps under continuous load. Multi-WAN failover and load balancing keep traffic flowing when a link degrades. Signature-based threat detection and application-aware firewall rules operate at line rate without a separate licence.

Silent desktop thermals

The fanless chassis operates from -10 to 40 °C at 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity. A 0.96 in LCM display shows status without audible noise. Power draw is limited to the supplied USB-C adapter, so no additional mains circuit is required.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power does the Cloud Gateway Max produce when running continuously?

It operates between -10 and 40 °C with 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity and is powered by the included USB-C adapter.

What UniFi equipment must I already own for this gateway to manage the network?

It manages up to 30 UniFi devices and 300 clients, so you need compatible UniFi access points, switches or cameras to use its controller features.

Will the 2.5 GbE ports work with my existing 1 GbE switches and cables?

Yes, the five 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports auto-negotiate down to 1 GbE, so current Cat5e or Cat6 wiring and older switches connect without changes.
