Cisco Systems, Inc. C9300-24UX-E 24-port network switch

Catalyst 9300 24-port Gigabit switch

The Cisco Catalyst C9300-24UX-E provides 24 managed Gigabit Ethernet ports in a 1U rack-mountable form factor. It is designed for commercial networks that require Layer 2 switching with uplink and stacking capability. Additional licensing is required to activate the full feature set. The unit ships new and carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Replacing unmanaged or Fast Ethernet gear

This switch replaces unmanaged hubs or older 10/100 switches where traffic segmentation and redundancy are now needed. The jump is worth it when you need 24 ports of 10/100/1000Base-T connectivity with stacking support for simplified management. It does not suit buyers who need modular uplink cards or redundant power supply bays.

Twisted-pair copper limits

All 24 ports use twisted-pair copper media limited to 100-metre segment lengths at Gigabit speeds. The fixed 1U chassis does not accept modular expansion cards for fibre or higher-speed uplinks. Environments requiring longer links or 10 Gigabit uplinks will need a different platform.
