48-Port PoE+ Switch with 10G Uplinks

The Cisco Catalyst 9300L-48P-4X-E delivers 48 copper ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps with PoE+ support and four fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks. A 715 W AC supply provides a 505 W PoE budget for access points, cameras and phones. The 1U rackmount chassis fits standard cabinets.

StackWise-320 Uplink Constraints

Four 10G uplinks carry all stacked traffic, so aggregate throughput above 369.05 Mpps requires careful uplink planning. The fixed SFP+ cages cannot be converted to copper 10GBASE-T without compatible modules. PoE+ per port is limited to 802.3at power levels.

Replaces 1G Uplink Access Switches

Sites moving from 1G uplink stacks gain 10G backbone capacity without adding chassis depth. The jump is worth it when wireless 6 or 6E access points need more than 1G uplink headroom. Buyers who need modular uplinks or higher PoE budgets should evaluate other models.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 48-port PoE+ model with 4x10G uplinks or a smaller variant for my access layer?

This C9300L-48P-4X-E provides 48 PoE+ ports and 4 fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks, giving maximum port density and uplink bandwidth in a single 1U rackmount unit.

What does the 130.95 Mpps forwarding rate mean for actual traffic through the 48 ports and uplinks?

The switch forwards up to 130.95 million packets per second across all 48 Gigabit PoE+ ports and 4 10G uplinks, so wire-speed performance is sustained even with all ports active.

How do the 4 fixed 10G/1G SFP+ uplinks and StackWise-320 affect total stacking bandwidth?

Each uplink runs at 10G or 1G via SFP+ modules, and StackWise-320 adds up to 369.05 Mpps stacked forwarding when multiple units are connected.
