Cisco 8861 IP Phone for business VoIP

The Cisco 8861 is a VoIP desktop phone finished in charcoal that supports five programmable line keys and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet. It runs on the 8800 series platform and includes an enhanced user connect licence for Unified Communications Manager Express deployments. Wireless LAN follows the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standard and a USB port is provided for accessories.

Suited to offices needing five lines and Wi-Fi

Teams that require five simultaneous lines, integrated Wi-Fi and a wall-mountable desk form factor will find the 8861 matches those requirements. Buyers who need more than five line appearances, a colour touchscreen or Bluetooth headset pairing should evaluate other models because those features are not present on this device. The handset is corded and the base unit uses a corded connection.

Steady operation with PoE and ENERGY STAR rating

Under continuous daily use the phone draws power from the PoE port, eliminating a separate adapter and keeping desk cabling simple. The ENERGY STAR certification confirms the unit meets recognised efficiency targets during extended operation. Dimensions are 10.1 inches wide, 9 inches high and 1.6 inches deep with a weight of 2.62 lb, so the footprint remains stable on a desk or mounted vertically.
