Cisco IP DECT Handset and Base Bundle

This bundle combines a DECT handset and base station for the 3PCC platform in North America. It provides cordless voice connectivity for Cisco unified communications systems. The kit targets offices needing mobile extension mobility without wiring every desk.

Installation and common issues

The base station connects to the network via Ethernet and pairs with the handset during initial setup. Power is supplied through Power over Ethernet so no local mains adapter is required. Misconfigured VLAN or DHCP settings on the switch port often prevent the base from registering to the call control server.

Capacity and headroom

The base supports multiple simultaneous calls per handset and can register additional handsets up to the system limit. Coverage extends across typical office floors depending on building materials. Dense concrete or metal structures reduce range and may require additional base stations for full roaming.
