Compact desktop NGFW with PoE+

The Cisco Firepower 1010 is a desktop next-generation firewall that runs Cisco Threat Defense software with optional subscriptions. It targets small offices, home offices and remote branches that need integrated threat inspection and the ability to power access points or IP phones directly from the appliance. Two ports deliver PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) for connected endpoints.

200 GB SSD and 8 GB DDR4 headroom

Internal storage is a single 200 GB M.2 SATA SSD that is not user replaceable, paired with 8 GB DDR4 DRAM for the FTD image and logging. Firewall-plus-AVC throughput reaches 890 Mbps at 1024B packets, while adding IPS drops it to 880 Mbps. The platform supports up to 100K concurrent sessions with AVC enabled, beyond which new connections will be denied.

Fanless side-to-side airflow at 115 W max

The unit uses a fanless, side-to-side thermal design, so it operates silently in desk or shelf deployments. An external AC supply accepts 100 to 240 V input and draws a maximum of 115 W, with current below 2 A at 100 V and below 1 A at 240 V. No moving parts means no fan noise or bearing wear over time.
