A 3.28 ft copper cable with SFP+ male connectors on both ends for 10 GbE links
This Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU1M= is a 10 Gigabit copper direct-attach cable built for short-reach links between switches, routers or servers. It targets network engineers and data-centre technicians who need a low-latency, low-power alternative to optical transceivers for rack-to-rack or adjacent-rack connections.
The 3.28 ft passive copper assembly carries male SFP+ connectors on both ends, so it plugs straight into compatible ports without separate transceivers. Its fixed length keeps cable management tidy inside a single cabinet, while the copper conductor eliminates the cost and fragility of fibre patch cords for very short runs.
The cable upgrades any deployment that currently pairs two SFP+ optics with a fibre jumper for 10 GbE links under one metre. The jump is worth it when you want to cut component count, reduce insertion loss and lower per-port power draw in high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet environments.

The cable is built for 10GBase-CU and carries 10 Gbps over its 3.28 ft copper link.
Each end uses a male SFP+ module that inserts directly into a standard SFP+ cage; the 3.28 ft twin-ax copper body needs only enough rack depth for the bend radius.
Push both SFP+ ends firmly into matching ports until the latch clicks; the step often missed is verifying the latch is fully engaged on each side.
