Control two HDMI and DisplayPort computers from one keyboard, mouse and dual monitors at up to 4096×2160@60Hz with audio, USB 2.0 hub and four switching methods
The CKLau 4K 2-Port HDMI+DP KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup control two computers or laptops that each provide an HDMI and a DisplayPort video output. It supports resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and passes HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 signals. Audio and microphone ports are included for headset use. The unit is driver-free on Windows, Linux, macOS and several other operating systems.
Two complete cable kits ship in the box so both computers can be connected immediately. A wired remote push-button provides a fourth switching method alongside the front-panel button, keyboard hot-key and mouse-gesture options. Two USB 2.0 hub ports allow shared peripherals such as flash drives or printers to stay attached to the switch rather than being moved between machines.
The DisplayPort inputs comply with the 1.2 specification at 60 Hz; they will not accept 1.4 sources running at 100 Hz, 120 Hz or 144 Hz. Verify that each computer can output 4K at 60 Hz or lower over its HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 ports. Buyers who need higher refresh rates or a different video interface should look for a model that explicitly supports those specifications.

The switch uses a wired remote push button plus keyboard hot-key and mouse-gesture switching, so the physical button sees little wear; the two USB 2.0 hub ports are standard connectors rated for thousands of cycles.
Each DisplayPort input is limited to DP 1.2 at 60 Hz, so 4096×2160 at 60 Hz 4:4:4 is the maximum; 100 Hz, 120 Hz or 144 Hz modes are not supported.
The device is bus-powered over USB and has no fan; it runs cool during continuous operation and adds only a few watts to the total system draw.
