Lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals with seamless keyboard and mouse switching via hotkey, button or mouse gesture
This CKLau switch lets two PCs share up to four USB 3.0 peripherals such as printers, scanners, keyboards, mice and flash drives. The package includes the switch unit, two 1.5 m USB 3.0 cables and a power cable for plug-and-play operation. A metal weight and silicone feet keep the device stable on the desk.
Office users who need to toggle a keyboard, mouse and printer between a work laptop and a desktop will benefit from the instant switching. Buyers who only have one computer do not need a sharing switch. Gamers using mechanical or gaming-grade keyboards and mice should note that the hot-key function may be incompatible unless the keyboard’s own toggle is turned off.
The selector offers three ways to change the active computer: a physical button on the unit, a keyboard hotkey combination and a mouse-gesture command. USB 3.0 connectivity provides 3.0 data rates for attached storage or high-speed peripherals. No software installation is required on either host machine.

The switch uses USB 3.0, so any connected peripheral is limited to the 3.0 signalling rate of up to 5 Gbit/s.
A built-in metal weighting block and silicone gel antiskid corner pads prevent the unit from sliding; the switch weighs 0.3 lb.
Connect the two included 1.5 m USB 3.0 cables to the computers, plug peripherals into the four ports — keyboard and mouse into the labelled ports — then attach the power cable; if hotkey switching does not work with a gaming or mechanical keyboard, turn the ON/OFF key off to restore compatibility.
