Classy Caps Mfg. Inc. Solar Motion Sensor Security Light

Solar Motion Sensor Security Light

The Classy Caps solar security light uses a passive infrared detector to trigger nine high-output LEDs. It mounts on a wall with the included bracket and runs entirely from sunlight, removing the need for mains wiring. Adjustable duration and sensitivity settings let you tailor the response to the installation site. Four AA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are supplied for energy storage.

Suited for off-grid garages, sheds.

This unit suits locations where running electrical cable is impractical or costly. The adjustable detection range helps cover specific zones around outbuildings. Buyers who need continuous dusk-to-dawn illumination or very wide-area flood lighting should look at mains-powered alternatives. It is not designed for indoor use or for mounting without a suitable vertical surface.

Nine LEDs deliver a bright white burst when motion

The four AA Ni-MH cells provide enough capacity for multiple activations per night under normal conditions. Solar recharging depends on daily sun exposure, so prolonged overcast weather will reduce the number of available cycles. The light runs out when stored energy is depleted until the panel replenishes the batteries.
