Solar panel for trail cameras

The Tactacam Reveal EXT-V2 is a 12-volt solar panel with an integrated rechargeable lithium battery. It supplies power to compatible trail cameras even when the camera's own batteries are depleted. The unit includes a mounting bracket, strap, cable and DC charger for quick setup.

Hunters and property watchers needing long runtimes

This panel suits users who want extended operation without frequent battery changes. It is not suited for buyers who need a panel without an onboard battery or who require a different output voltage.

Check camera power input and connector

Verify that your trail camera accepts a 12-volt input and that the included cable matches the camera's power port. Confirm the mounting location receives enough sunlight to keep the internal battery charged.

Questions about this item

Which cable do I need to connect this panel to a Reveal X Pro 3.0?

Will the 12 V output charge the internal lithium pack while my older Reveal X Gen 2.0 is drawing power?

Yes, the integrated rechargeable lithium battery stores energy from the 12 V panel and feeds the camera even when the host batteries are depleted.

How can I confirm the panel is delivering power after I mount it?

The camera's power indicator will show an external source, and the lithium pack continues supplying 7.4 V to the camera when sunlight drops.
