Bronze Bearing, Pressed Steel Housing

The Clesco F2PS-BR-075 is a bronze bearing housed in pressed steel, supplied new for industrial power-transmission applications. Maintenance teams and OEM buyers use it to replace worn units in conveyor, fan and gearbox assemblies. It is not suited for buyers who need a sealed or stainless-steel alternative.

Thermals, Noise and Power Draw

Bronze-on-steel construction runs without built-in lubrication channels, so operating temperature and noise depend entirely on the external grease schedule and load profile the installer provides. No power-draw figure applies because the bearing is a passive component.

California Proposition 65 Compliance

The product carries a Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm, so buyers subject to that regulation must assess exposure risk before installation. Orders of $75 or more qualify for free manufacturer-direct shipping.

Questions about this item

How is the Clesco F2PS-BR-075 bronze bearing installed in its pressed steel housing?

The bearing is press-fitted into the steel housing; the step often missed is ensuring the housing bore is clean and aligned before pressing to avoid misalignment.

What maintenance or replacement will the bronze bearing need later?

Bronze bearings require periodic lubrication; inspect for wear or scoring and replace the bearing if clearance becomes excessive.

What limit appears first under sustained use?

Heat buildup from friction is the first limit; inadequate lubrication or overload accelerates wear on the bronze surface.
